Hello, my name is Yolanda Johnson and I have been a counselor and instructor at De Anza College for eight years.

I was a student at De Anza college, where I earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with an Emphasis in Arts and Letters in.

I transferred to San José State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Child Development. I later returned to San José State University and earned a Masters Degree in Counselor Education

Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with students in many capacities. In high schools and Adult Ed, I assisted students with earning their high school diploma and GED. I have worked with students at multiple community colleges and have supported many to earn their associate degree and transfer to the university of their choice. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.

Students who aren't in the MPS program can visit the general Counseling and Advising Center or a counselor within their division or program.
