Course Description

This course is an introduction to De Anza College that includes information about programs, services, policies, degrees, certificates, transfer requirements, and college culture. Students will focus on strategies needed for academic success and development of a preliminary Comprehensive Educational Plan.

COUN-005.1TZ: This is a dual enrollment class for FUHSD Adult School students. This is a 3-week in-person and online class from May 29-June16. This class meets each week as noted in the class listing. The first week will be on-campus and the second and third weeks will be online. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system. We recommend a laptop or desktop computer to successfully complete the course; a tablet or phone may not be adequate for all assignments and tests.
